‎"Everyone Wants To Be The Finished Product."!

I was at work when this idea was forming. Only I did not know what was forming. It kinda reminds me of when you sit down to play Lego's with kids and you just grab a hand full of big pieces, little pieces and all different colors. You do not have an exact idea what you are going to make but you know that each added Lego you are forming a masterpiece.
It started with a client who was picking my brain about running. She is doing her first marathon. She is doing great. But she has "Runners Envy". This is where you let others accomplishments get in you head and you think less of yourself and your progress is disguised by comparing. You do not have to be a runner to know about what I am saying. She is a great runner and has a many awesome achievements.
When we look at others accomplishments and achievements we forget the struggle, hard work, and whatever ingredients went into creating their trophies. We are a work in progress. Just like those building blocks. It is one block at a time. We do not always know what the finished product will look like and we may not even know how much work and sacrifice is going into it.
  • But it is important to build your own Masterpiece.
  • Be Content with the blocks you were given.
  • If you get discouraged don't quit just Restart.
The idea formed further when I went to a Restoration service at our church that evening. The Pastor used this quote.  "Everyone Wants To Be The Finished Product."!

At that time all those ideas formed and were glued together with that quote. That was what was ruminating in my mind with nothing to put it together. That was what was tugging on my heartstrings all day but could not describe. And here HE supplies this one quote and everything comes together.

We are Fearfully and Wonderfully made. Each individual. Each on our own journey. And each one working on our Finished Product.....Whatever that may be!
