“In prayer we shift the center of living from self-consciousness to self-surrender”
 Abraham Joshua Heschel

One day at a time. Stay calm. Just Breath Anita. Quit your crying and suck it up. Pull up those big girl pants and embrace the Dream.  You have put it your miles. You have cried out in anguish over many grueling long runs.
You emotions have ran on overload and you have been depleted and fatiugued through several double digit runs.
The snow and wind of a pounding winter didn't defeat you-neither will Fear.
YOU GOT THIS GIRL!

I pursue God with a guttural passion that burns for Him to supply me with  everything I will need to accomplish this race.
I CAN NOT do this with out Him. Nor would I even want to take 1 step unto that course without him running along side of me.
I am NOTHING without him. And even with HIM I am still nothing. But He thinks I am something.
He Believes in ME. Little Ole me.
And He believes in my Dreams, be it small or LARGE.
Ordered my Jacket on line...REFUSE to TRY it on..Have not earned it yet!

The Power of Prayer is Immeasurable. I am Desperately Seeking YOUR Prayers. From the bottom of my heart I am asking you to PRAY for me on my Marathon.

The Marathon consists of 26.2 miles.
If all goes the way I have trained I will be running 8:30 minute miles. I will leave my Corral crossing the starting line about 10:25am. You can use my Bib Number and TRACK me.  click here:    Track Anita
I would like to dedicate a mile to someone.  Or pick a Mile that you will be praying for me..

I humbly come to you asking for prayer. I will need prayer for several things but to name a few.. safety, peace, comfort, stamina, knowledge, endurance and the opportunity to share Christ..My Rock.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7
