"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom you have received from God? ... So use every part of your body to give glory back to God..." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Happy Halloween...

My little Mexican~ALec

I am a big kid. I love dressing up, going crazy with my hair and makeup and just blending in with the kids. I get such a kick out of the candy givers reaching out to give me candy then hearing " Mom....." and they realize I am parental supervision dressed all up. It is just plain fun.
The Halloween Fairy giving dad a kiss~

This year I was so excited because I made my skirt.
HOW TO MAKE A TULLE SKIRT:
9 TOTAL YARDS TULLE. ( I did 3 yards, 3 colors)
Tulle cut in 3 inch strips I used 3 colors (tulle is still folded)
Cut strips in 3 inches wide.

Tie tulle strips around a strip of tulle(  becomes your belt) you can also use elastic.

At this point you can cut tulle to length you want,
I added Knots to the bottom of my strips.

Halloween...through out all the fun I would like to take a minute to remember those we have lost at this time. My mom slipped into a coma that she never awoke from this week over 20 years ago. It has been 4 years, the 28th that my Grandma..The most amazing woman I knew went to be with her heavenly father. I honestly thought it was 2 years ago..where did the time go. She was 99, 2 months shy of her 100th birthday!
But I would really ask you to keep my sister-in- law in your thoughts and prayers as her father passed away last night. She has been taking care of him for a couple years now. She wanted him to have zest for life again and he was just tired. She never quit on him. Even when he quit she always clung to hope. She visited him, cared for him, loved him, took care of him, cried for him, there is much heartache. "Leeanne" is a amazing daughter. Please lift her up in your prayers for comfort and peace.

  1. I love your costume! I had one house offer me candy too, probably because I am not so tall, and was dressed up, sort of, nothing near as cool as yours!

I am really sorry for all the loss that your family has suffered. You continue to be in my prayers.
